I liked the foaming. The first time I soaped my hair up twice. When my hair dried, it was very dried out and almost frizzy. I may use some conditioner next time.
Great, I love the product & company
Did you know that most plastic shampoo bottles end up in landfills regardless of if you attempt to recycle them? Don't just trust me, please go educate yourself, but it is a real and changeable problem we can solve. By using shampoo bars from small producers (like Lakota Made) who use a little plastic as possible, you can help remove yourself and your spirit from a toxic cycle that is killing the planet. Personally, I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair as I have since starting using this shampoo bar. My hair is soft, strong enough not to break, and free of oilly residue. I originally only got it because it was hemp based as I wanted to try something new. Then while using it, I found out most plastic shampoo bottles don't actually get recycled and decided it was time for a forever change. This shampoo bar holds up over continued use, and I find it well worth the cost for amount of use you get from it. I keep mine in a little dish I got from a local Japanese market, away from where it can wet. It also smells nice. Now I wash my hair once every week, brush it every day, and I feel like a little mermaid most of the time. I would definitely recommend at least trying this shampoo bar, along with the others she has, to find which product is best suited to help you and your hair save the planet.
